All orders are sent as parcels via CoolRunner Aps and handled by New Zealand Post, once the parcel enters destination country. You can expect delivery of the package within 12–14 working days. In certain periods, around bank and summer holidays, deliveries can take longer than this.
If your order contains both books and posters, these will be sent in two different shipments. You will receive separate tracking numbers so that the packages can be tracked separately.
NOTE: When you choose to have your package delivered directly to your private address, you also accept that New Zealand Post may leave the package at your front door at your risk.
As we ship orders internationally, goods cannot be collected directly at our warehouse.
When your order has been scanned and sent by CoolRunner Aps, you will receive an email to that effect. The email will contain a Track & Trace number, so that you can follow the delivery of your parcel.
Since all the products are unique and personally produced for each child, we unfortunately cannot accept returned products. Therefore, it is important to check all the information you enter when ordering. After placing your order, you are able to edit the details of the product(s) or delivery address (via your order confirmation) for 1 hour before printing begins. After this period, it is not possible to change the order.
The order cannot be cancelled after this point as it is produced specifically for you and contains personalised details that are tailored to your order.

Delivery takes place when the product is finished. As a general rule, orders are produced and sent within 12–14 working days after order completion. The customer is entitled to cancel the agreement subject to advance notice if delivery is substantially delayed.
A substantial delay is a delay of more than 30 working days from order completion. Should the schedule shift due to circumstances for which My Best Book bears no responsibility (including delays or lacking delivery from subcontractors, delays due to the customer's lack of cooperation), delays cannot result in the customer being granted remedies for breach of contract, including right of cancellation.
My Best Book cannot be held liable in the event that delivery is delayed or hindered due to force majeure. Should an event for which My Best Book bears no responsibility result in My Best Book’s fulfilment of delivery obligations becoming more expensive, My Best Book shall not be obligated to execute such obligations. My Best Book cannot be held liable for postal and freight providers’ delayed delivery or loss of a parcel, if it can prove that it sent the parcel in a timely manner. In no event, can the customer claim a delay for products that have already been delivered.
The customer shall not acquire ownership of physical copies of a product before My Best Book has received payment in full. All goods from My Best Book shall remain the property of the latter until full payment is received. Following the transfer of ownership to the customer, My Best Book reserves the right to use the work produced as a reference in its own marketing.
My Best Book shall bear no liability for errors that the customer did not correct in writing prior to order confirmation. Should the delivery contain errors or omissions, the customer is obligated to claim the error or omission within a reasonable timeframe by contacting us directly. My Best Book is entitled to try to remedy the error or omission if it can do so within a reasonable time and if it is deemed that My Best Book can be held responsible for the error or omission.
NOTE: The colours in the final printed product can vary from the colours as represented on a screen and this cannot be considered an error. Likewise, skin tones and hair colours shown in the order process are not precise and may vary in relation to how the characters in the different products are illustrated.
In addition, the Consumer Rights Act's rules on a 2-year warranty shall apply.
In the event of delay, or in case of errors in the delivered product, My Best Book shall not be liable for operating losses, loss of profit or other indirect losses, including those resulting from the customer’s legal relationships with third parties. My Best Book is furthermore only liable to pay compensation to the customer for losses or damages incurred as a result of gross negligence or deliberate action. My Best Book shall not be liable for indirect losses or direct losses, if these are the result of delays or loss of data or lost earnings.
